Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NoteAI, operated by Yasir Khan ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using NoteAI, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What NoteAI does

NoteAI lets you upload audio recordings of meetings and automatically generates a transcript, summary, action items, and a draft follow-up email using third-party AI services. You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the right to record and share that content, including obtaining consent from other meeting participants where required by law.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Plans and billing

NoteAI offers a Free plan (3 meetings per month) and paid Pro and Team plans billed monthly via Razorpay. By upgrading to a paid plan, you authorize NoteAI to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page. When you cancel, you'll retain access to your current plan's features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for — we don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods.

Prices shown in INR reflect region-specific pricing for customers in India and are not a direct currency conversion of the USD price.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to record or share
• Use NoteAI to process illegal content or facilitate illegal activity
• Attempt to abuse, circumvent, or exploit free-tier usage limits
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt NoteAI's infrastructure or security
• Resell or redistribute access to NoteAI without our written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. AI-generated content

Transcripts, summaries, and action items are generated automatically by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should review AI-generated content before relying on it or sharing it with others. NoteAI is a productivity aid, not a substitute for your own judgment about what was discussed or decided in a meeting.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the recordings and content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you — generating transcripts, summaries, and related output. We do not claim ownership of your meeting content, and we do not use it to train AI models.

7. Service availability

NoteAI depends on third-party services (including Groq, Firebase, Cloudinary, and Razorpay) to function. We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we're not liable for outages or failures caused by these third-party providers.

8. Limitation of liability

NoteAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost data, lost business, or decisions made based on AI-generated content.

9. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date when we do. Continued use of NoteAI after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
